DisasterComUK gets into schoolwear
In recent weeks, DisasterComUK has been invited to start the delivery of a Business Continuity Management System for a major UK schoolwear manufacturer. The extensive programme included a business impact analysis with the key stakeholders, a risk assessment, crisis management development as well as the creation of a Business Continuity Plan. Work continues in 2010 ahead of the ‘Back to School’ season in the summer.
WAR analysis
DisasterComUK is working with one client to analyse their Work Area Recovery capability in the event of their Telephone Channels department being impacted by a serious incident. The programme looks at existing resilience & crisis management methodology as well as focussing on recovering teams of people through internal displacement to other parts of the business estate.
2010 Exercising
The New Year’s get fit campaign starts quickly for DisasterComUK. DisasterComUK Consultants are exercising Business Continuity Plans and rehearsing Crisis Management teams for several clients to kick start 2010 Business Continuity Management activities.
